Our Community Outreach
The Little Food Pantry
The Little Food Pantry was created by our men's ministry, Iron Works, several years ago to assist our neighborhood and community with non perishable food items. Thanks to our congregation and local businesses, like Dollar Tree and Lowe's Food, the pantry is stocked three times per week. It has served dozens of families in our area and continues to be a vital extension of North Pointe's ministry.
Operation Christmas Child
Since 2004, we have partnered with Samaritan's Purse Ministry's "Operation Christmas Child". The mission of this important ministry is to demonstrate God's love in a tangible way to children around the world and to share the good news of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations. Since 1993 more than 198 million children in more than 170 countries have received an Operation Christmas Child shoe box. For many of them it is their first gift ever. We are proud to be a part of this vital ministry as they present the Gospel of Jesus Christ at festive outreach events where children are surprised with these shoebox gifts.
Easter Celebration at the Beach
Since 2001, North Pointe Community Church has held our annual Easter Celebration at the Beach at the Oceanic Pier on Wrightsville Beach. This important outreach event attracts hundreds of visitors who experience our worship team and hear an Easter message from Pastor Jeff. We offer refreshments and breakfast for those in attendance.
Annual Chili Cook-Off
One of the most popular events at North Pointe Community Church is our annual Chili Cook-Off. This is a great opportunity for us to fellowship and enjoy our time together and is also a fun way for us to share our favorite Chili recipes. All are welcome!
